First Time Kids Letter

I know that kids can make going anywhere…an adventure.

Kids put Murphy’s Law on steroids—anything that can go wrong absolutely will go wrong—especially when you are trying to get somewhere on time.  They spill breakfast all over the kitchen floor.  They pick fights with their siblings. Their shoes go mysteriously missing right as you are walking out the door. So many things that could have prevented you from making it to Mosaic this morning.

But you made it.

And I am so excited that you did!

We see Mosaic Kids as having a dual purpose:

  1. Teach kids about Jesus while they have lots of fun.

  2. Give you a break from parenting to focus on your relationship with God.

I hope and pray both of those things happened today—that your kid had a blast and that you had a minute to slow down and connect with God.

I also know that it’s a big deal to trust someone to take care of your child for any amount of time. We don’t take that lightly.  Thank you for entrusting us with your child!

-Pastor Adam

PS- Hopefully you can make it back soon!  I know I’m biased…but I feel like there is a cumulative effect to kids being in church—like a garden where the more you plant, the bigger the harvest.
